Supplier Specialist

The role

In this role you will be part of the Shop and Workshop category and buying team. The team consists of Category buyers, category managers and category specialist. They work closely together to make sure our customers always have the best assortment for their needs against the best possible conditions. As a supplier specialist you will be an important part of the team and the goals we want to achieve.  The team is managed by a head of category.
 

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Ensuring input and maintenance of the correct and valid purchase price information in the relevant systems.

  • Correctly processing the Supplier Master Data and Agreements.

  • Working closely with the category Buyers in decision making on pricing (changes), conditions and (how to) improve performance.

  • Maintaining relationship with suppliers by daily contact.

  • Maintaining and optimizing supplier performance and stock levels by analyzing, processing and improving the supplier set-up in the relevant systems.


Who are you?

  • You like to work data driven and you have an analytical mindset;

  • You enjoy working in Excel extensively;

  • You have a proactive attitude and willing to go the extra mile;

  • You have excellent knowledge of procurement processes;

  • You have an excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken, knowledge of another foreign language is considered an asset.
