Sourcing & Supplier Relation Manager

for the Turkey Area, based in Ankara

who is a committed, pro-active and communicative procurement professional and team player. You are eager to achieve the best for the Turkey regional Procurement team and supporting KRAMP Head Quarter Category Management, Strategic Procurement in close collaboration with Product Quality, Operational Procurement and Transport Management.  

What is your role?   

  • Identify, audit, develop suppliers fitting in the Agricultural business and maintain supplier relations in the Turkish market to support the growing business in Europe 
  • Responsible for sourcing, contracting and managing the overall vendor performance per contractual price, condition, service level agreements (SLA) and ensures vendor conformity to enterprise standards, operational processes, and management guidelines to ensure business goals are achieved. Acts as single point of accountability for internal and external business partners in the Turkey Area.  
  • Coordinate with our HQ resources to execute sourcing assignments, sourcing selecting and contracting the best in class supplier base, against best price, conditions and supply chain performance SLA’s, while manage that this performance will be delivered
  • This role will require close coordination with internal teams and external partners to ensure effective delivery and compliance with contractual obligations. Supporting the operational purchase order process to flourish up-stream supply chain performance of the agricultural suppliers in Turkey Area.
     

Your specific tasks include:  

  • Sourcing of right suppliers
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal customers and  Supplier portfolio in the Turkey source area 
  • Manage that the supplier portfolio is delivering the supply chain performance according to the contracted SLA. Monitoring underperformance, address root causes, initiating improvements road maps.
  • Focus on cost savings. Negotiate with suppliers on cost and maintaining commitments. Carry out comprehensive price negotiation and analyze suppliers production units. Aggressively track and improve non-compliance preferred supplier(s). 
  • Identify and convert cost reduction opportunities based on solid understanding of cost drivers and manufacturing processes 
  • Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on supply chain health 
  • Initiate and complete supplier audits to ensure their ability to meet product quality and compliance, coordinating golden sample testing and random QC inspections before shipments approval.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to define and improve product specifications and requirements to ensure quality and compliant components.

The Global Sourcing & Supplier Relation Manager Teams in several area’s, source components from all over the world which are of mayor importance to the success of our Kramp Brand in Europe. You will work with our suppliers face-to-face in your source area expand the capabilities of Kramp and directly improve our assortment and supply chain performance.

Who are you? 

For this job we have a couple of requirements:   

  • A visible and easy to go person 
  • Highly self-motivated and energetic 
  • Sound strategic Procurement knowledge, and general international business understanding of category management, product quality and compliance, supply chain management 
  • Bachelor, preferably Master degree. 
  • Demonstratable International business experience in a similar role/organisation.
