Data Analyst Experimentation


This is the perfect opportunity if you have passion for Data, Experimentation & E-commerce. In this role, you will be responsible for the analytical capabilities of our experimentation platform. Early 2022 we started to build our own experimentation platform with a dedicated product team. We truly believe in experimentation as an integral part of our way of working and core values. You will be the go-to person for everything related to the analysis and results of our experiments. The key platform users will need automation of test results, but this requires a lot of smart thinking from you and the team.

Next to building a state-of-the-art experimentation platform, you will be part of an experimentation Center of Excellence with the aim to further improve experimentation as a capability within our company. Your focus will be the data and analytics lens within the team.

We are looking for a Data Analyst who will join us in our journey to become a truly data-driven e-commerce company, working in agile product teams, where product owners, developers, data analysts, UX & CRO specialists are working closely together and fully focus on their product. You will join the 5 Data Analysts in the e-commerce team & a data analyst community of > 50 colleagues across the group.

The role

  • You will enable the experimentation platform team with all experimentation data, test results & analysis related requirements.
  • You will develop analytical and statistical methods and processes for experimentation.
  • You continuously improve the maturity and quality of our experimentation analysis and results by guiding and coaching the other product teams and data analysts.
  • You will enable product teams to make decisions from the data & experimentation lens, by conducting in-depth analysis and creating insights.
  • You will ensure the right conclusions are drawn from our experiments.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders to establish yourself as the expert for the data insights, analytics & experimentation expertise.
  • Working together with the other analysts in different teams to continuously improve our maturity in experimentation & data-driven decision making.

Who are you?

  • Completed master’s degree in a relevant professional area.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a data/experimentation analyst in e-commerce companies.
  • Good communication and advisory skills (written and spoken).
  • Strong ability to extract actionable insights from advanced analyses and being able to advise on possible next steps.
  • You will have a deep understanding of statistical analysis and experimental design.
  • Strong experience with Python, SQL and/or Google BigQuery.
