“Kramp offers an international, complex but collaborative environment with great career development prospects.”

What I particularly like about the Kramp way is that people matter. When we are considering objectives like sustainable growth, increased customer satisfaction and better cost efficiency, the Board is not just concerned with ticking those boxes, they want to see that those changes also benefit our teams and make their working lives simpler, less stressful and more rewarding.

I studied Industrial Engineering and Management at degree level, and then gained my MSc in Industrial Engineering and Management, with a focus on Production and Logistics Management. During my studies, I took advantage of several opportunities to go abroad. Because I had enjoyed those experiences so much, after university I was looking for an international company which would offer me the chance to work abroad, at least partly. I was also keen to find a company with a complex logistical environment, so that I could apply my learning from university and develop those skills in a challenging real-world environment. With Kramp, I found the perfect mix of those ingredients.

As a management trainee, I got the opportunity to work in different departments in different countries, allowing me to quickly gain an insight into the entire organisation and build up my network. Afterwards, I was given responsibility for a team, managing the availability of products in our three warehouses in the Nordics. Now, I am a Program Manager for the assortment and supply chain, meaning I’m responsible for continuously improving the service our customers experience, and increasing efficiency by initiating and managing projects which will make a real difference.

At Kramp, you are given plenty of opportunities to work on your personal and career development, not only through training via the Kramp Academy, but on the job too. I have found the environment is really friendly and open, and I’m always working with colleagues of different nationalities, which means a real range of perspectives.
